Scanner apps disagree because they run on different data and different rules, not because one of them is broken. These comparisons say what each app reads, where its answer comes from, and who it suits — including the cases where LabelPeek is the wrong choice.

Two things are worth knowing before any comparison. A barcode app answers from a product record, so a missing record looks identical to a clean product. A text checker answers from the ingredient list you paste, so it never has a coverage gap but also never knows the brand. Most disagreements between apps come down to that difference rather than to disagreement about the ingredients.
